Our Place Restaurant Yungaburra

Well, after a ‘raw’ welcome at 12pm - about not able to be accommodated until 12:30pm, we patiently waited….. We were seated at the time we were informed - and from that moment on, all was great! The service The food The atmosphere I held back on a ‘revue’ until we experienced what other guests were experiencing, and we were not disappointed! The wife, Molly, loved the place to pieces, especially the toilet (!) which she stated was 1st class, and swore that next time we ventured from Cairns to Yungaburra, we will definitely stop by again - with a reservation! Thank you for a wonderful treat It is a pity that some humans have no pride nor patience when confronted with out of the norm situation - patience is a virtue that not all have

We just had lunch at “Our Place” and I have to say, it was an incredible experience! The smoked salmon linguine was hands down the best I've ever had – perfectly cooked, with a deliciously rich sauce that was bursting with flavor. Every bite was absolute perfection! The service was outstanding as well – our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top-notch food and exceptional service. I'll definitely be coming back next time we are visiting Yungaburra!

The braised baby octopus was spot on! I’ve never eaten anything like it and it was one of those one of a kind meals only mum could make. The service from everyone was 11/10 as I felt welcomed and cared for throughout my dinner. Can’t wait to come back again soon.

My family and I (5 adults) turned up as they were opening for lunch without booking and were welcomed in. All our mains were absolutely delicious (I had the seafood bisque special) and all the bread was baked that morning. We shared desserts, and highly recommend all! 100% would go again!

Saved the best for last. I've never tasted sweet potato and bacon soup that was so delicious, with freshly cooked bread and then another entrees of garlic prawns. Huge prawns and so tasty . Finished off with Chocolate Mousse . Haven't had a meal like that in many a year . Would out do many 5 star restaurants. Service amazing , fantastic music ans atmosphere . We'll be back . Lovely place, friendly staff, good food. The portions are huge, ordered a entree size ravioli and could feed me and one more, shouldnt have ordered the salad together, ended up being too much food for one delicious though

Beautiful place with a lovely couple running it, great sized meals and tasty. Didn't have one of the house made fresh baked focaccia's but they looked bigger than the steaks. Lovely couple, lovely atmosphere a nice getaway

From the minute we walked in we were greeted with amazing customer service. We were seated to our tables with very informative menu/ wine specials. It was nice to have service where you’re not looking for staff. We were tended to with the upmost quality and care. The food ! Where do I begin, I had the salmon linguine pasta entree which was phenomenal. For the main I ordered a lamb shank, now let me tell you. I’ve had a fair few lamb shanks in my time as it’s my absolute favourite comfort food. And this. This was the best. 1st place. . I knew after analysing the place that it was full of love and passion. From the kitchen to the dining area it was presented beautifully, clean and elegant. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing by or visiting. I know I certainly will back to relive this experience again.
